One Exciting Getting To Know Perth Full Day Tour!
One full day experience of Perth, its culture, people and infrastructure through the eyes of a Singaporean Aussie. The student will be introduced to landmarks in Perth, spectacular attractions that they will definitely visit again during their few years here, and a chance to say hello to a few local Aussies in the suburbs. The itinerary will be as follows:

Pick up from home and head for an Aussie breakfast in Mount Lawley |
| 9am to 11am | Get onto to the Perth Hop-On-Hop-Off Tour Bus for a 2 hour tour of the city |
| 11am to 12pm | Drive along the beautiful coastal driveway and have lunch at Fremantle |
| 12pm to 2pm | Discover Fremantle (and introduction to suburbs South of the River) |
| 2pm to 4pm | A visit to a Centro/Westfield Shopping Centre |
| 5pm to 6pm | Dinner at Hillary’s Boat Harbour (and introduction to suburbs North of the River) |
| 7:30pm | Time to head home! |
This experiential Getting To Know Perth Full Day Tour includes all meals, refreshments, travel, tour ride and mentor-coach time!
Two 1.5-hour mentor and coaching session per month (Total of 18 hours)
These mentor and coaching sessions will be conducted at the student’s home, or on university premises to discuss emerging issues the student may face. This will include:
- Assistance with accommodation (especially during the first 2 weeks);
- Assistance with using transportation, application for drivers’ licence and/or purchasing a vehicle (over the 6 months or more);
- Assistance with all seeking part-time employment and taxation matters (over the 6 months or more);
- Assistance with recommendations on community support and involvement in order to overcome culture shock (over the 6 months);
Two 1.5-hour academic coaching sessions per month (Total of 18 hours)
These academic coaching sessions are created to assist students in maximising their learning skills developed in Singapore, and to further enhance these tools to learn independently and to tackle academic writing/assignments (a total of 12 hours over the 6 months or more).
24 hours/7 days a week access via telephone or email for support
This is one service that no university international student office or education agency can ever offer: a 24 hour- 7 day assistance for your child should they ever need hands on assistance while they are settling in during their first year in a foreign country.
Additional 4 bonus hours of added assistance in areas that need further attention (e.g. accommodation, car purchase etc.)

This is a chance for the mentor/coach to update all of you on the well-being and progress of your child.

This e-newsletter will be sent to all members and parents with the latest updates on living in Perth and what to be aware of.
All Gold Membership students will receive a comprehensive Welcome Kit from Dr Simon which includes relevant information on living in Perth, application forms, brochures and lots of surprises to help you get comfortable here in Perth!
