Struggling with Financial Hardship and Unemployment

For many international students, having an income would relieve some of their financial hardship. International students in Australia can expect to spend around $400 per week on accommodation, food, clothing, entertainment, transport, travel, telephone calls and other costs. The amount an individual will spend will, of course, vary according to factors such as lifestyle, the type of accommodation they choose, and the type and location of the course they study. Also, they would gain experience working in Australia which would add to their professional development and complement their study and experience working and living in a different culture.

Unfortunately, many employers do not look favourably upon employing international students knowing they are only allowed to work 20 hours per week. Because of that, international students are viewed by employers as unstable and unreliable.
